From April 1, new policies issued by First State will generally be backed by the security of the Beazley syndicates at Lloyd’s. (The only exceptions will be renewal policies where the client has elected to retain their prior security.) Beazley’s syndicates have been independently rated A (excellent) by A.M. Best and all Lloyd’s syndicates additionally benefit from the Lloyd’s market’s chain of security, rated A XV by A.M Best.
