Beazley’s Information Security and Privacy Insurance provides
industry-leading coverage for emerging data security and privacy
exposures facing companies today.
In collaboration with the law firm
Perkins Coie, we have created for our clients and
brokers an interactive map of
the United States, showing the security breach notification laws
that apply in different states. These laws vary widely and it
is critical that companies handling private information are
familiar with the laws in the states in which they operate.
Beazley underwriter Bob Wice discusses the drivers of
demand for network security and privacy
coverage.
In 2007, the Identity Theft Resource Center documented 446 data
breaches involving 127 million records.
