What we offer

We are selective about the clients we work with. We look for sureties and insurers with exceptional knowledge of their market segments and strong underwriting disciplines. When possible, we like to visit our clients and prospective clients on-site, investing time to understand their business goals and ambitions as well as their immediate reinsurance needs. As core services, we perform underwriting reviews, offering operational and underwriting feedback, and special acceptance reviews. 

How can we help

Beazley supports surety bond insurers in global economic development. We aim to become a core reinsurer providing excellent service, flexibility and innovation to promote our clients' growth. We’re not just reinsurers; our team is comprised of individuals who have all maintained positions of significant responsibility in the primary surety industry and have personal experience with all of the facets of managing a surety operation.  We’re able to craft solutions for our clients that meet their long-term objectives on a sustainable basis.  A good reinsurance relationship should be timeless. Among our current clients are companies that we first reinsured more than two decades ago. Our client retention rate is in excess of 95%.

Who we can help

We look for clients that have clearly defined product niche(s) within the surety-credit arena and that have underwriters who are experienced and knowledgeable within their designated segments.  We work with our clients to understand their approach to risk, credit selection and portfolio monitoring.  We are open to all size categories (international, national and regional)  within the surety space.  Our level of participation is directly linked to the client’s ability to execute on their strategy throughout the underwriting cycle (most easily represented through their long-term loss ratio), limit requested per principal/obligor and the extent of the cedant’s risk participation relative to the requested reinsurance coverage.  ​
