Beazley CEO Andrew Horton spoke to Insurance POST about the company's UK, Europe and international expansion programme.
Beazley has grown from a gross written premium of £876m in 2008 to £1.7bn last year. That's a growth he attributes to his introduction of "little rockets" to the company, not least its £250m cyber business.
In the article Andrew explains one of these latest 'rockets' comes in the form of geographical expansion to help further diversify the portfolio. Around 65% of our business currently comes from the US, which itself grows on average 20% a year. "We've got a big initiative now to grow our business in the UK and Europe,".
