Our home insurance is designed for individuals with higher value homes and possessions. It is suitable for properties with a rebuild value of £250,000 or greater and/or general contents, valuables and fine art with a new for old replacement value in excess of £75,000.
We offer a comprehensive ‘all risks’ home insurance product that provides protection against a wide range of events. Cover is granted for accidental loss or damage to possessions on a worldwide basis.
As well as insuring buildings, contents and personal possessions we specialise in covering fine art collections, jewellery and antiques.
We operate on a delegated authority basis as Lloyd’s coverholders, which allows our brokers to provide a quick and responsive service to their clients.
This service is further enhanced by the ease of administration offered by the Beazley Trade web-based underwriting platform, that is designed to help our coverholders offer a fast and efficient service by offering a trading platform that supports the delegated authority underwriting process.
Authorised users are able to administer the policy through its lifecycle from quote to bind with full mid-term adjustment and renewal functionality. The pricing, underwriting rules, endorsements and referral process are all built into the platform. Policy documentation in the form of quotations, schedules and statement of facts are all generated by the platform and there is also access to a full reporting suite.
Additionally, coverholders each have their own version of the site that can be tailored to their needs in order to fit their specific distribution model.
We recognise that not all risks are the same and our experienced underwriting team is on hand to respond quickly to enquiries whilst offering a flexible and personal approach.

Our underwriting team are supported by our excellent claims service. Our underwriting and claims professionals work side by side. For our clients this helps to ensure that when a claim arises the intent behind the original policy is respected.
We work closely with our brokers to meet their specific requirements in offering a number of claims handling solutions.
We are able to grant in-house authority to our brokers (dependent upon experience and operational capability). Alternatively, we are also able to offer a dedicated Beazley branded desktopclaims handling and adjusting service.
