Prashansa is based out of Singapore and her mandate includes developing the underwriting capability across Asia and Pacific for Healthcare and Life Sciences. She focusses on Asian and Pacific Healthcare & Life Sciences business providing coverage for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, clinical trials, CROs, nutraceuticals and biotechnology, and the healthcare infrastructure including tech enabled healthcare set ups. Prashansa brings more than 15 years of insurance industry experience across both underwriting and broking. Her most recent role was at Marsh Singapore where she led the Asia Life Sciences team managing major accounts and focusing on Complex Casualty, Directors & Officers and Cyber risks. She has a post graduate degree in business management and also is a certified Functional medicine coach by IFM, USA.
Over the past two years, Beazley has launched a suite of insurance products for the Miscellaneous Medical and Life Sciences (MMLS) market in Asia-Pac. Our offering was further boosted when Prashansa Daga joined our Singapore team last year, with a responsibility for growing our healthcare offering across the region.
Beazley launched its suite of Miscellaneous Medical and Life Sciences (MMLS) offerings to the Canadian Market in March 2020, building on two decades of experience writing this business in the US and London.
The digital health and wellness sector is set to embark upon a growth boom globally and while much of that can be attributed to the accelerated use of digital tools during the pandemic, there is also growing ambition from within the sector itself.
