business for clients worldwide out
of Lloyd’s and from offices in the United States, France, Hong Kong
and Singapore. Our business is divided into five main
categories grouped into five operating divisions:
We underwrite professional and management
liability business, on both a primary and excess basis, from North
America, Europe and around the world.
With an underwriting presence in London, the
US and Singapore, we protect clients ranging from Fortune 1000
companies to homeowners.
Political Risk and
Contingency
Our political risk clients rely on us for mitigation of
performance, payment, terrorism and political risks.
Our contingency team specializes in event
cancellation. Weather-related disruptions are a frequent
cause of loss, but more unusual loss-triggers such as war and
terrorism can also be covered. We also insure event organisers for
non-appearance of performers.
We help insure 10% of the world’s ocean-going
tonnage and cover 35% of the top 200 oil and gas companies.
Reinsurance
We specialize in writing worldwide property catastrophe; per risk;
aggregate excess of loss and pro-rata business; and casualty
clash.
