In the UK we are recognized as a leading insurer of high value
homes. Our service was tested during the floods of 2007 – following
the heaviest rains on record.
In the US, we began underwriting high value homeowners’
insurance for properties in catastrophe-exposed regions in 2005 on
a surplus lines basis. We work closely with specialist wholesale
brokers to offer coverage that is not available in the local
admitted market.
