Bob Quane joined Beazley as Chief Underwriting Officer in 2021. An industry veteran with over 30 years of underwriting leadership experience, he came to Beazley from AXIS Capital, where he was also CUO of AXiS Insurance. Prior to that, Bob worked for AIG for 22 years, 13 years of which were based in Germany, France and the UK. His last three positions at AIG were Head of Global Commercial Property, Head of Global Accident & Health and Head of Global Personal. Bob is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and he is based with Beazley in New Jersey.
