    Lou Ann Layton

Group Head of Broker Relations and Marketing

We are delighted to announce the official launch of our first ever internal/external network, Beazley SHE. This network was created and is sponsored by Lou Ann Layton, Global Head of Broker Relations and Marketing.

So what is Beazley SHE all about?

The mission is to support  Successful,  High Potential,  Empowered Women in Insurance. This means supporting women internally and externally within the industry and providing them opportunities for personal and professional development.

Is there a difference in the internal and external focus?

Yes! Internally, we want to support women and help them achieve their career aspirations at Beazley. One of our many goals is to help realise our ambition of increasing the number of women in leadership roles and on management teams throughout the business.
Externally, we want to boost our brand as a great place for women to work, within the industry. We will be hosting many women’s events to allow us to drive this message with our brokers and clients.

Of course, these two paths do not stand alone and will undoubtedly intersect as we build our client relationships and host events, helping women within the business to connect with other women in the industry.
