The Marketing and External Communications team works closely with underwriting and claims teams to develop messages and marketing campaigns that will win more business from brokers and clients, and help retain existing clients.
In addition, the team works at a group level to develop the Beazley brand and promote the company to external stakeholders including brokers, clients, prospective employees, shareholders and financial analysts.
Beazley’s marketing team designs marketing strategies that work across a range of different media including PR, print and digital advertising, sponsorships and events. The team is also responsible for the maintenance and development of the Beazley website.

Strong verbal and written communication are essential skills as you will be working with stakeholders across the business, at all levels. For the same reason, great interpersonal and relationship skills are incredibly useful. You may often be working across multiple projects, so being able to plan, organise and prioritise is vital. Developing integrated campaigns or producing a comprehensive marketing strategy requires good time management.
Creativity and attention to detail are both crucial to ensure ideas continuously evolve but with accuracy and within our brand. You will also need to learn about the business, our products and the markets we transact in, in order to advise on the best marketing approach.
