What connects a spa break
with a data headache?

So much for a relaxing break. Our client is a property management company operating several spa hotels. When they detected a malware infection, things suddenly got decidedly tense. We stepped out of the sauna and got a forensic team on site, pronto. They checked the logs and concluded that although malware had indeed snuck into the system, it had failed to access any personally identifiable customer information.

When the expert privacy attorney confirmed that this was not a reportable breach, everyone could finally breathe properly again. Panic over. And now, back to that lovely foot massage.
