It's a wrap! The Beazley Hiking Challenge fundraising event has concluded on a successful note. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the 30+ individuals who not only raised funds but also journeyed from various corners of North America to contribute to its success.
For many of these individuals, it was their first time doing a hike of this nature – testing their limits and strength. But they all persevered for the one ultimate goal, to raise money for World Central Kitchen (WCK), who is currently in Hawaii, feeding those involved in the recovery.
As a collective effort, the team raised an impressive amount of $40,000, further augmented by Beazley's matching (1.5x) contribution of $60,000. The combined total of $100,000 will help provide 25,000 meals to the communities being supported by WCK. Beyond its impact on our global charity partner's ongoing efforts, this challenge facilitated the formation of new friendships and the creation of cherished memories. Undoubtedly, the Rockies provided a breathtaking backdrop that lived up to expectations.
