    COVID-19: Returning Employees to Work, webinar hosted by our risk management partner ePlace Solutions, Inc.

    The webinar addresses issues related to employers returning employees to work after shelter-in-place orders, furloughs, and temporary layoffs, including responsibilities under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), and workplace safety guidance issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The webinar also covers discrimination concerns associated with returning to work and the potential for employer liability associated with decision making and related return to work policies.

    Speaker: Wendy J. Mellk, is a Principal in the New York City, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C.

    She concentrates her practice in employment litigation and counsels’ employers on a full range of workplace issues, including best practice employment policies, hiring and separations, performance management, discrimination, and sexual harassment. Ms. Mellk was recognized in the 2020 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America.

    Host: Jena M. Harlos is the EPL Practice Manager at ePlace Solutions, Inc.

    She received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. In private practice, she counseled employers regarding sensitive employment matters (e.g. terminations) as well as compliance with new laws and regulations. In 2018 and 2019, Ms. Harlos was selected to the Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers Rising Stars List
